  • Keep end lines and sidelines clear for safe play

  • Grades 5–6 (9v9): Sprague 2, Sprague 3, Elm Bank 3, Elm Bank 4, Bates, Schofield, Upham
  • Grades 7–8 (11v11): Sprague 2, Sprague 3, Elm Bank 3, Elm Bank 4, Bates, Schofield, Upham

Field Safety Guidelines

Before every practice, coaches should inspect fields and equipment for safety.

Goal safety

  • Inspect all movable goals before each session; use only on level ground.
  • Ensure each goal is properly secured with sandbags on the back or side bars, and confirm the bags are not a tripping hazard.
  • Check nets and frames for sharp edges, loose bolts, or damage.
  • Never allow players or spectators to climb, hang, or play on goals or nets.

Moving goals

  • Only adults (coaches or parents) should move goals — never players.
  • Remove sandbags before moving and replace them once the goal is in place.
  • Rotate wheels before moving for easier transport, then return them to the locked position when set.
  • Push goals whenever possible; avoid pulling to prevent tipping over.
